Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Sentinel Finance ("Service") provides an API-driven spend governance layer for AI agents. The Service evaluates payment requests against configurable policies, manages approval workflows, and maintains audit trails of all financial decisions.

2. Account & API Keys

• You are responsible for safeguarding your admin credentials and agent API keys
• API keys (sk_live_*) should be treated as secrets and never exposed in client-side code
• Notify us immediately at security@sentinelfinancehq.com if you suspect unauthorized access

3. Acceptable Use

• The Service is intended for legitimate business spend governance
• You agree not to use the Service for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
• Automated access must occur through the documented API using valid agent keys

4. Data Ownership

• You retain ownership of all data submitted through the API
• Sentinel Finance does not sell, share, or use your data for purposes other than providing the Service
• You may export your data at any time via the admin console or API

5. Service Levels

• Pilot tier — Best-effort availability during the 2-week trial
• Enterprise tier — 99.9% uptime SLA with dedicated support (per contract)

6. Limitation of Liability

Sentinel Finance provides a policy evaluation and workflow layer. The Service does not initiate, process, or settle actual financial transactions. Payment execution depends on your configured payment rail integration. Sentinel Finance is not liable for decisions made by the policy engine or for any downstream payment processing failures.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email to the registered admin address. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
